What an unpredictable, wild and eventful year it has been. A year in which we had to learn to be even more flexible, even more resilient and -above all- even more creative. 2020 gave us the opportunity to experiment with many new things, share them with the world and get back a lot of love, support and appreciation from you, our audience.
We leave behind an eventful year. The corona pandemic has had a major impact on all of us. It has slowed a lot of movement, and it has accelerated other things.
For us, this period is also looking back at the first four years of development of our NITE movement. The Nationaal Interdisciplinair Theater Ensemble (National Interdisciplinary Theatre Ensemble), in which we as Noord Nederlands Toneel andClub Guy & Roni, together with our regular partners Slagwerk Den Haag and Asko|Schönberg, have started to propose a new future. A world that looks interdisciplinary, innovative, inclusive and international to us. We look back on productions such as Salam, Brave New World 2.0, LOVE❤, Dear Winnie, Swan Lake, Uncle Vanya, Dronken Mensen (Drunk People), NITE Hotel and look forward to the projects and collaborations that lie ahead of us.
To celebrate the past four years with you, we would have liked to meet physicallyon the tours last autumn. Hopefully we can meet again in the course of the coming year. Until then, we would like to look back with you to our first four years as NITE with the short impression below.
On behalf of everyone at Noord Nederlands Toneel and Club Guy & Roni we wish you an inspiring and hopeful 2021. We look forward to seeing you again in the new year, in the post-corona world. We keep in motion with each other.
Things are better together
