Mohamed Yusuf Boss

Choreographer

Mohamed Yusuf Boss (1986, Hargeisa, Somalia) is a dancer, choreographer and theater-maker based in Groningen, the Netherlands.

Mohamed’s work is based on hip-hop and the each one teach one principle. From the initiative X_YUSUF_BOSS, Mohamed creates a space for stories together with the creative producer Jaukje van Wonderen. A place where there is room for everyone’s story. In 2019, Mohamed Yusuf Boss won the Groningen Talent Prize from the province of Groningen and the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds. After the performances SHAN (2016), AFAR (2019) & KÓW (2020), Mohamed is currently working on his new performance LABA within the talent development program Club Guy & Roni invites.
