Rik van den Bos

Rik (1982) studied writing at the theatre school Utrecht.
He previously wrote the successful triptych for the Noord Nederlands Toneel: My Ede, My Second, My Peace. In recent years he has been a much sought-after writer and has worked with -among others- the Ro theater, Toneelschuur productions, Firma Rieks Swarte, Oostpool, the Veenfabriek, Frascati Productions and Lunchtheater Bellevue. In 2010 Rik received the Charlotte Köhler Stipendium for his first three plays. Together with theatre maker Maurits van den Berg, he founded theatre group Berg & Bos. Their performance Drive-In was nominated in 2014 for the BNG Nieuwe Theatermakersprijs and the piece A coming of age for the elderly for the Taalunie Toneelschrijfprijs 2016.
