Bad Nature
The relationship between humans and nature is a fundamental part of our existence. Yet in modern societies, we often experience a sense of disconnection from this bond. We seek peace in nature — by going for walks or gazing at the sea — but at the same time, we get annoyed by minor inconveniences.
This paradox reveals how far our daily lives have drifted from the natural rhythms we depend on. In Bad Nature, Club Guy & Roni and the Australian ensemble Australasian Dance Collective explore this fracture.
How do ecological shifts in Australia affect people’s experience of nature? And could technology actually build a bridge toward more sustainable ways of living?
“Club Guy & Roni once again prove their fearless artistic identity.”

Human Odyssey
Club Guy and Roni’s The Human Odyssey is a series of international collaborations with dance companies and music ensembles outside of Europe, looking beyond the Eurocentric gaze. It is an ambitious exploration of different aspects of the human experience, redefining the narratives we construct about each other and the world. Recent successful collaborations happened with makers and companies from Mauritania, India, Senegal and Morocco.
The collaboration with Australasian Dance Collective and Boris Acket marks another step in this artistic journey.
“Enchanting, pitch-black spectacle.”
